Dieses Kotykiewicz Harmonium mit der Nummer 10388 wurde am 18.01.1916 an Karl Liquens Neffe in Prag erstausgeliefert.

Interessant in diesem Zusammenhang ist das Firmenschild. Es ist völlig anders, als zu dieser Zeit üblich. Normalerweise steht dort: "K.u.K Hof-Harmoniumfabrik Kotykiewicz Wien". Interessant ist auf diesem Schild der Zusatz: "Meister-Modell". Teofil und Emil haben ihren Meister zu einer ganz anderen Zeit gemacht. Ob es das Meisterstück eines Mitarbeiters war? Bis auf die Lösung mit der Koppel (was zwischendurch immer mal in dieser Art gelöst wurde) ist es ein regurläres Modell seiner Zeit. In den Speditionsbüchern steht auch kein besonderer Zusatz. Es könnte auch sein, dass dieses Harmnium speziell für eine Ausstellung „prepariert“ wurde. Ich bekam einen weiteren Hinweis der besagt, dass es vielleicht eine Anpsielung auf die Instrumente von Schiedmeyer gewesen sein könnte.

This Kotykiewicz harmonium with the number 10388 was first delivered to Karl Liquen's nephew in Prague on 18.01.1916.

Interesting in this context is the company label. It is completely different from what was usual at that time. Usually it says: "K.u.K Hof-Harmoniumfabrik Kotykiewicz Wien". Interesting on this sign is the addition: "Meister-Modell". Teofil and Emil made their master at a completely different time. Was it the masterpiece of an assistant? Except for the solution with the paddock (which was always solved in this way from time to time), it is a regular model of its time. There is also no special addition in the shipping books. It could also be that this Harmnium was "prepared" especially for an exhibition. I got another hint that it might have been an allusion to Schiedmeyer's instruments.
